Tennessee's Slow Poke Law

Currently, the law in the State of Tennessee allows for a $50 fine for people who drive too slowly in the far left lane on a 3 lane highway.  This year, the legislature expanded the law to cover divided highways with 2 lanes on each side.  The left lane is to be used for passing.  Research determined that driving fast in the left lane is no more dangerous than driving slowly in that lane.
